The Wessex Royale Hotel in Dorchester is a delightful Georgian building built in 1756 following a similar design to that of John Wood's Royal Crescent in Bath, built in the same year. As you would expect this classical Georgian building has a Grand Staircase, Panelling and Fireplaces in abundance.

The Wessex Royale Hotels air conditioned a'la carte Restaurant is open from 6.30pm each evening and serves a variety of excellent food. There is a specially selected range of traditional and New World wines designed to complement the menu. The Restaurant has recently been refurbished and is open for Sunday Lunches.
